About

Arms Acres is an alcohol and drug addiction treatment facility that is located at 75 Seminary Hill Road in Carmel, New York. Treating substance abuse involves multiple stages of treatment through a recovery program such as that offered by Arms Acres. This can include group counseling, individual counseling, outpatient treatment, inpatient treatment, and medically assisted detox, among many others. Treatment programs are based on the individual themselves and are constructed to suit each patient individually. Just as every person is unique, so should treatment programs and that is exactly what patients will receive at Arms Acres.

If addicts do not obtain the right type of support and guidance, they may find treatment to be very difficult as the thought of sobriety can seem so far-fetched. At Arms Acres, professional counseling and guidance are provided to all patients aged 18+, giving them the strength needed in order to obtain a life that is free of drug and alcohol addiction. By altering the patient's outlook on life through addiction treatment, they will be able to stay positive throughout the duration of rehab.

The staff members at Arms Acres have a mission and that is to give patients effective and quality addiction treatment so that long-lasting sobriety can be obtained. The path to a positive future starts on a positive foot and that begins at Arms Acres. Confronting addiction is a difficult thing to do, but it is the most important step in the recovery process. Through professional counseling during the patient's time in treatment, patients will learn coping skills and trigger management which is imperative to the success of maintaining sobriety.

Maintaining sobriety on one's own is extremely difficult, especially when the addict has tried to go 'cold turkey' on their own. This is because it requires medically-assisted detox in order to properly and safely wean the body off of the substance of abuse. This way the body does not go through sudden withdrawal nor experience harsh side effects. Arms Acres can provide patients with all of the necessary tools, treatments, and resources so that patients have every opportunity to succeed in recovery.

Getting treatment is the best option when seeking a life that is free of substance abuse. Get the help required now and start living the best life possible. Contact Arms Acres by visiting www.armsacres.com now.

I was there for two weeks with a broken ankle mostly everyone was kind and caring, Robert plummer was my counselor the best. Teresa burdick the nurse practitioner was very nice and professional she stood on the phone for almost an hour trynna reach my doctor's to reschedule my appointment for when I get out, Frankie the nurse not nice I think her real name is frankcheska she was busy flirting with three other patients and I went to ask her if I can see a doctor she made a face like I was bothering her I guess it was cause I'm Latino. Anyways lexi, very nice, Harry super nice caring and professional, william very nice, all the food servers were nice and the guy that cleans and waxes the floor all of them were nice. The African American lady councilor on E-2 was very unprofessional and not true to her word and she Bragg's too much about her master's degree. I'm still clean till this day and I check in with my counselor Robert plummer thank you Bob. Ty guys. Ty Harry, ty lady from the little store she was super nice professional.

Admitted in March 6, 1998. Case worker was good, director was a hardass but saw no other way of delivering the message. Too much fraternizing between men and women but they came down hard. Tough guys around but it was no church retreat. Insurance only paid 2 weeks but it was an eye opener. Wentfto the 6 month reunion . One kid decided last hurrah before going to halfway house in Florida , it killed him. Rehabs don t fail people , it's the other way around . Today i celebrate 20 years sober . ONE DAY AT A TIME!!

Finding good, reliable drug rehab for teens is hard, very hard. Arms Acres is fantastic. All the way from my initial call with Eric, to Amelia, to Nurse Peggy, all the intake staff, Ellen D... and special shout out to the lovely woman who helped talk my son down after 5 hours in the waiting room (insurance issue, no fault of arms Acres)I know there are more of you to thank but I don't have all your names. Everyone is so dedicated and caring. Daily phone calls from staff, super-fast return calls if I left a message, good contact with my child, and supportive family training. The negatives I heard from my son are that the rooms are cold at night, and that there are minor fights in the cafeteria every day. We only got 7 days there, but again that was the insurance company's decision. Would definitely send him back if/when needed.
