The maternity and birthing center here is AMAZING. The doctors, nurses, lactation consultants, and even the cleaning staff were so incredibly friendly and helpful. My wife and I were new parents and they made us feel like family. We in particular had a lot of interaction with Sharon and Wendy, which were extremely dedicated to helping us out. They'd give us great advice and help us withe everything. We felt bad asking all the time for help swadling, diaper changing, and feeding the baby, but no matter what we asked for, they were there with a smile and making us feel so good about everything. Dr. Charles delivered for us and she did a great job as well. Just to show the kind of positive environment, even the nurses at the stations were having a good time talking with each other and you can tell they really loved doing what they do here. If you're in the area I 200% recommend you go here if you're having a baby.
Amazing place! Everyone was so nice and polite. Though I was the patient, they treated my daughters who were with me (twins 3 &6) with so much love and gave them things to be entertain with while I was being treated. Best ER experience I’ve ever had !
I feel the need to write about my experience at the ER at NYP. It’s amazing to go somewhere for medical attention and receive the comfort, courtesy and kindness of ALL the staff in the department. From the techs to nurses and doctors, this was by far the most stress-free and pleasant ER experience I have ever had. Thank you NYP. Your commitment and care for this Veteran does not go unrecognized or unappreciated. Thank you for all you do.
While on a weekend away I ended up in a lot of pain die to muscle spasms due to degenerative disk dieses, staff at the emergency room were quick responding, empathetic and quick acting! As a patient here from out of state I was very impressed! 5stars!
I was in the emergency room for a few hours yesterday. I am really impressed with the staff (the receptionist, the nurses, doctor and the technicians). The emergency room is clean, everyone is so professional and pleasant. I did not have to wait for even a minute. I have taken family members to other emergency rooms in Westchester like White plains, Valhalla medical center, northern Westchester). this emergency room is an order of magnitude better than the other places in the county. Thanks to all the staff and of course the doctor, my experience has been very positive and pleasant. I walked out feeling really good because the doctor diagnosed and treated the problem right away.
I have been going to NY Presbyterian Hudson Valley Hospital for years. Emergency room visits due to my extreme asthma, as well as tests and surgeries. I cannot say enough about the care that I have received each and every time. The Women's Imaging Center is short of a spa. Clean and well kept. The nurses, technologists, and doctors make you feel like you are checking into a hotel, not signing in for a mammography or an ultrasound. Always polite, caring and sharing a smile, providing support, hope and comfort. I feel blessed to have this type of facility so close to my home. More than 5 starts on any given day!!!!! Kudos to the staff and doctors at NYPHVH!!!!!
I'm very impressed by everything at this hospital. From the moment of arrival to discharge, everyone I encountered did their very best to make the stay pleasant. The nurses were exceptional, the nurse assistants were so kind, they provided everything that was needed, were gentle, sensitive to my needs and understanding of my pain. I would not hesitate to come here again (though I'm hoping I never have to). Two thumbs up!
I felt very comfortable and assured by the way i was treated here. Thorough and caring staff.
I had multiple operations at this hospital and everything went smoothly. In addition, i walked into the ER after traveling on vacation and the ER doctor saved my life. He immediately diagnosed me and started treatment If not for him i would have died. In addition a number of family members also were treated with wonderful service. Wonderful hospital all around.
There was a time when the "old" Peekskill Hospital would not have been my first choice to receive medical care. Now, it is MY FIRST CHOICE!! What a achievement. not just has the name changed, but every aspect of providing care.
